Jihyung Moon Growing up as a young child, my parents were always very warm and kind to me. They were always showing kindness and generosity towards me. My parents always gave me the sense of safety and security when I was with them. As a child growing up in a family that is very prosperous and rich compared to other civilian, I was very lucky to be loved and raised by such well educated and generous parent. They were always willing to help me in anything, and they always encouraged me. Even today, I never feel any sense of detachment or coldness from my parents. They are never cold and mostly and usually never rejecting. Both of my parents are very close to me and they are always there for me. My current description of how my parents raised me might seem to get me very spoiled and arrogant. But that’s not true; they might seem very passive and permissive but even though they are always kind and generous to me, I never, not even once saw my parents easy and permissive. I always had respect for them and even feared them time to time. At times of misbehavior, I was strictly punished and scorned at. I was never a spoiled boy and I could never be. At when I misbehaved or angered my parents they would become an authoritarian parent. They would pressure me until I got myself corrected and act as the way they wanted me to. I always grew up respecting both of my parents and thanked them. They were fully aware of all my weaknesses, strength, likes, dislikes, and just my whole personality.
